We offer a range of support for schools involved in the Global Learning Programme
As GLP accredited providers we offer bespoke support for schools looking to incorporate global learning in their curriculum, at a date and venue to suit you. These options are suitable for either individual schools, or a cluster working together. This includes, but is not restriced to:
Staff meeting: A practical twilight session introducing global learning ideas to the whole staff and exploring how global learning supports curriculum development.
Planning/PPA support: A tailored programme for senior managers and subject leaders including practical teaching and learning ideas, resources and links to external opportunities.
Trainee and newly qualified teachers: A half day session for those at the start of their career, to introduce key global learning concepts and methodologies; this could be part of a programme of support across a cluster of schools.
Staff development day: Suitable for extending global learning in a particular skill or curriculum area, such as learner needs in changing local and global communities, developing literacy through global stories, supporting critical questioning and enquiry, student voice and active global citizenship, global schools partnerships, SMSC.
