At the heart of it was developed by a group of museums, libraries and archives professionals. They have used their own experiences to provide a practical, user-friendly toolkit to
demonstrate how collections can be used effectively to support work with secondary students.
The initiative involved a core group who came together to support each other to plan individual projects, these were then implemented in a range of venues. The group came together again to take stock, share experiences and plan their write ups. This publication was a result of that process.
It was developed in partnership with MLA West Midlands
